AOKE manufactures DIN7980 washers with precise dimensions, maintaining tight tolerances for outer diameter and thickness. When the bolt is tightened, the DIN7980 spring washer is compressed, generating a continuous axial spring force that offsets the loss of bolt preload due to vibration and temperature fluctuations. Stainless steel A2 DIN7980 spring lock washers are used in humid environments and outdoor equipment. For highly corrosive environments (such as coastal areas and chemical plants), 316L DIN7980 lock washers are recommended. They contain 2%-3% molybdenum and are resistant to long-term corrosion from seawater and weak acids.
