The grade of flange nut are grade 4, 5, 6, 8, 10, etc. The flange nut material of grade 8, grade 10 and grade 12 are medium carbon steel (35K,45K) or alloy steel (35Crmo, 40Cr) and heat treated, which are generally called high-strength flange nuts. Stainless steel nuts are divided into SS304, SS316 or Duplex stainless steel 2205. A2-70 flange nut means the material is SS304, tensile strength can reach 700Mpa. A4-80 flange nut means the material is SS316, tensile strength can reach 800Mpa.
