How Thread Rod works

screw rod, also known as screw , is the outer surface of the cylinder cut with a spiral groove or cut with a conical spiral groove cone. The screw has different heads, outer hexagonal screw, large flat screw, inner hexagonal screw and so on.

Screw rod material requirements: from the extrusion process, the screw is in high temperature, certain corrosion, strong wear, large torque work, therefore, the screw must:

1) High temperature resistance, no deformation at high temperature;

2) Wear resistance, long service life;

3) Corrosion resistance, corrosive materials;

4) High strength, can withstand large torque, high speed;

5) It has good machining performance;

6) Small residual stress and thermal deformation after heat treatment.
